Naturopathy: Fighting Cancer & Degenerative Disease the Natural Way

As science and medicine develops, more and more practitioners tend to focus on extreme modalities to treat ailments and eliminate the symptoms. Gradually, practitioners tend to drift away from the core mission of not only eliminating the symptoms of the ailments but more on bringing back both physical and emotional health of the patient.

In this 26th of March 2014, a group of Naturopathy practitioners gathered together for their 1st Mindanao Naturopathy Practitioner’s Conference and Exposition at the Grand Menseng Hotel, Davao City. This group of people has full faith on Healing in the Natural Way, and showed us that there exist so many lesser invasive modalities that can bring back health & wellness of the patients without leaving horrible traumas.

Famous personalities as Atty. David D. Aguila, Engie D. Domondon, MD, ND, RN, Al-Wajer S. Himpon, MD, Tam Mateo, ND, and even guest speaker from Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou, Dr. Xiaochi Peng, was invited in this event.

During the convention, discussion points revealed how natural ways of healing could be more beneficial than extreme medical approaches. Naturopathic treatment may be accused of lacking scientific evidences; however, real-life concrete patient cases of recovery from kidney failure, liver cirrhosis, and even cancer, are the best support and evidences of the efficiency of natural healing.

During the discussion, Dr. Al-Wajer S. Himpon discussed how cancer cases improved through naturopathy management by modifying diet and changing the life style of the patient. Dr. Tam Mateo also tackled on how GMO (Genetically Modified Organism) causes many types of cancer. He stressed that food intake of RAW materials is the best diet that could lessen exposure to unnecessary carcinogens and other agents of ailments.

Special speaker from Guangzhou, Dr. Xiaochi Peng, ended the forum with an informative lecture on how cancer management could be well implemented through a integrated program of Western Medication and Easter/Asian Naturopathic Treatment. Dr. Peng mentioned that in his 20 years as an oncologist, he has seen hundreds and thousands of patients died of extreme side effects of chemotherapy and radiation therapy. As a doctor, he believes that the real practice of medicine shall involve bringing back the health of the patient with minimum trauma or damages to the patient’s body. He introduced how Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou’s team of experts was able to work on integrative cancer management programs. Certain Minimally invasive western approaches such as TACE, Particle-Seed Implantation, Cryoablation and natural therapy were used to control the growth of cancer cells and then complemented by the Traditional Chinese Medicine, whose major roles lie on boosting patient’s immune system to fight the disease and lessening the sufferings and trauma brought by side effects of western medication. Through years of practice, hundreds of patients from Indonesia, Vietnam, and even Philippines, were able to recover from horrible cancer after undergoing such integrated cancer management.

The convention ended successfully knowing that Philippine medical practitioners have devoted so much time and effort in searching new approaches for the health of their patients, and Naturopathic Healing proves to be one of the efficient and working-well approaches. More power to the Philippine Naturopathic Society, Inc. as they pursued their mission in healing the natural way!
