Red tomatoes and apples contain lots of lycopene, which can prevent urinary tract infection. Yellow pumpkins and corns contain lots of flavonoid, which can keep good eye sight and improve immune system. Green broccoli and spinach contain carotene, which can solidify the bones and teeth. Purple eggplants and grapes can help resist aging. White garlic and cabbage contain anthocyanidin, which can strengthen blood vessel and low down cholesterol. Studies have found out the five colored vegetables and fruits can prevent cancer effectively. It will be healthier to add those vegetables and fruits into our recipes.
