More importantly, its seed dosage is strictly controlled and hence patients’ survival quality is improved. Implanted 125I seeds keep release continuous radiation into the tumor and kills the cancer cells from inside, which is not more accurate and effective and less harm but achieves the same effect of surgical resection. In order to help more cancer patients in Malaysia away from cancer pain, we have invited Prof. Peng Xiaochi, a returned Doctor from Canada, to introduce 3D printing template assisted seed implantation in this symposium series.
