NGUYEN DANH CUONG‘s Interview

He usually walks around every ward, hospital canteen, Baiyun Mountain, etc and takes a piece of paper and a pencil to paint for others and communicates with people by body-language. People who are invited to be painted always receive his invitation with happily smile and satisfy his wishes. This old man is NGUYEN DANH CUONG, an anticancer warrior.
NGUYEN DANH CUONG, 66 years old, was supposed to spend his remaining life in comfort but the continual cough and chest distress made him suffered because he couldn’t eat or sleep well. Thus, he went to see a doctor and the local doctor diagnosed him with pneumonia and prescribed him antibiotics. However, the condition went worse and he developed into a tough cough which had lasted 10 months. NGUYEN DANH CUONG went to another doctor for help and he was diagnosed with lung cancer.

The optimistic NGUYEN DANH CUONG became worried and nervous so he searched professional cancer hospital via Internet, magazine, etc. He by chance knew his friend had gotten a good efficacy for lung cancer treatment at Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou so he went to the local consulting office and determined to treat cancer at Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou China.

He also climbed up to Baiyun Mountain and painted for people who take exercises at Baiyun Mountain. Every time he finished painting, he gave the painting to people and took photos with them as .

Gradually, his painting skill had improved. The sketches become more vivid and exquisite and the painting speed faster. Besides cancer treatment, he was able to finish two or three works in one day. Now, he had saved photos up to 60 pieces in his cell phone. When people mentioned NGUYEN DANH CUONG, doctors, nurses, and patients complimented him amiable and passionate. Recently, the GDTV, the Guangzhou Daily and other media also interviewed his anticancer story.
NGUYEN DANH CUONG believed that painting for others was a good way to communicate with people. Though they do not know the each other’s language, they will become much closer through painting. He hoped to bring Vietnam and other countries closer via painting for doctors, nurse and other patients, and realize “love without boundary” in real.
