On the afternoon of November 26, 2015, the “anticancer warrior” ceremony of Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou was held in the conference room of ninth floor. Patients from Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, etc participated in the ceremony with their families. Lung cancer patient MR THANAST SAMRUALHANT, right lung adenocarcinoma patient PHAN VICTOR PANGALELA, liver cancer patient SUNANDR and parotid gland cancer patient MCOWEN BUDIMAN TJAKRAATMAJA were rated as “anticancer warriors in November”. The director of nursing department He Liangqiong presented “anticancer warrior” certificates, nourishment and flowers for them to cite their positive spirit and courage to fight against cancer. Meanwhile, the videos of their interviews were broadcasted, and they were invited to share their experience to encourage other cancer patients.

Via minimally invasive therapy, his tumor has shrunk obviously and is in stable condition now. When he talked about his experience, he said, “Cancer is not equal to death. We have to fight against it positively, so we can defeat it.”

A patient was so excited and said, “Although we come from different countries, this activity bands us up with each other. We share experience and happy things, and make efforts to fight against cancer together. Cancer is not horrible anymore.”
Director He expressed that the aim of this monthly “anticancer warrior” ceremony is to spread anticancer energy for cancer patients and encourage them to fight positively.
