Treatment for Women’s Cancers—— Surgery, Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy VS Minimally Invasive Treatment
Surgery:
big trauma, high risk

Traditional resection has limitations and it’s inapplicable to advanced cancer patient due to high risk, big trauma and complications. Moreover, Breast, uterus and ovary resection also deprive women of dignity.

Radiotherapy and chemotherapy:
unbearable and severe side effects

Radiotherapy and chemotherapy kills cancer cells, meanwhile, it also kills normal cells and cause damage to immune system. The patient would suffer severe side effects and face threat of cancer and other diseases due to hypoimmunity.

Minimally invasive treatment:
small trauma, few side effects, precisely kill cancer cells.

Minimally invasive treatment, such as microcatheter superselection, 3D printing template assisted seed implantation and cryotherapy etc., causes 1-2mm trauma, few side effects, while yields good efficacy and effectively relieves the pain, improve life quality and prolong survival.

Advantages:high targeting, small trauma, quick recovery, few side effects, good efficacy, high repeatability.

Comparison with systemic chemotherapy: the drug applied in systemic chemotherapy covers almost all organs and it kills both cancer cells and normal cells. During the operation, just low-concentration drug reaches the tumor and it leads to severe side effects. During interventional therapy, high-concentration drug directly reaches the tumor without damaging adjacent tissues or causing side effects.

Advantages:millimetre-size trauma, high targeting, few side effects, few complications, high safety, no damage to normal tissues.

Comparison with radiotherapy:during radiotherapy, external rays were released to target the tumor and also to adjacent normal tissue, causing damage, immunity failure and severe side effects. While, internal ray was applied in 3D printing template assisted seed implantation and it kills the tumor from inside, reducing damage to adjacent tissues and the higher-concentration drug strengthens the efficacy to kill cancer cells.

China Press: Minimally Invasive Therapy Brings Hope for Cervical Cancer Patient

Advantages:lower the risk of metastasis after removing the lung tumor; less bleeding and quick recovery; basically remove the tumor tissue, enhance immunity and prevent recurrence; little damage to the patient and normal lung tissues.

Comparison with surgical resection:surgical resection causes severe damage and the patient is prone to suffer infection, complications and metastasis after operation. However, there’s no surgery needed in cryotherapy and it removes the tumor just like surgery. With extreme cold and heat, cryotherapy precisely leads to tumor necrosis with small trauma and little damage to normal tissues.
